Black Hour
Black Hour, a Pakistani progressive rock band, was formed in 2007 in Islamabad
by lead guitarist Hashim Mehmood. The band initially started as a heavy metal
group and underwent several lineup changes before settling on four members:
Hashim Mehmood, drummer Daim Mehmood, bassist Salman Afzal, and lead vocalist
Tayyab Rehman. Black Hour gained recognition in the local metal scene with
singles like "Age of War" and "Salvation", leading to their debut album Age of
War, released on October 25, 2011. The album sold over 10,000 copies worldwide.
