I can still remember when our language was first heard

You sat down next to me and took my hand

In between our laughter we created brand new words

That only you and I could understand

And I could feel my heart pound

As our love grew stronger our new language grew and grew

Each day birthed a new word unheard before

Just a little secret that was just between us two

It only helped to make me love you more

So much time has vanished since our language graced my lips

For now I have no one to speak it to
