Lee Jeong‑seon, born 30 October 1950 in Daegu, South Korea, is a singer,
guitarist, composer, arranger and university professor. After serving in the
Army Band, he debuted in February 1973 at the YWCA auditorium. His 1974 album
was the first Korean record where he wrote, composed, arranged, performed and
recorded all tracks. Lee released albums such as Island Boy (1974), and Thirties
(1985), and founded the folk‑rock trio Lee Jeong-seon and the Balloons (1979)
