עמיר בניון
Amir Benayoun, born on August 30, 1975 in Beersheba, Israel, is a
singer-songwriter and composer. He released his debut album רק את (Only You) in
1999, which sold 40,000 copies and marked his breakthrough into Israeli
mainstream music. His subsequent albums include ניצחת איתי הכל (You Won
Everything with Me) (2004) and הכל עד לכאן (Everything until Here) (2006). In
2011, Benayoun released an album in Arabic titled Zini, supporting the Syrian
uprising. He has also written songs for other artists such as Gidi Gov, Gali
Atari, and Yehoram Gaon.
