Илья Лагутенко
Ilya Igorevich Lagutenko is a Russian singer, composer, and actor born on
October 16, 1968, in Moscow. Following the death of his father, Lagutenko
relocated to Vladivostok, where he eventually graduated from Far Eastern State
University as a specialist in Mandarin and Chinese Economy. At age 11, he formed
the psychedelic punk group “Boney P”. In 1983, he founded the rock band Mumiy
Troll. Lagutenko received several honors during his career, including being
named Man of the Year in November 2005 by Glamour and Musician of the Year by GQ
