Batyrkhan Kamalovich Shukenov was a Kazakh and Soviet singer, musician,
composer, and poet. Born in Kyzylorda, Kazakh SSR, Soviet Union, on 18 May 1962,
Shukenov served in the Soviet Army from 1985 as part of the 12th HQ Military
Band of the Central Asian Military District. In 1987, Shukenov co-founded the
pop-rock group A-Studio and served as its lead vocalist until 2000. Shukenov
then launched his solo career, releasing albums including Otan Ana in 2002, Tvoi
shagi in 2006, Ostorozhno, milaya devushka! in 2010, Vsyo proydyot... in 2010,
