Dimitra Galani, born Δήμητρα Γαλάνη on November 14, 1952, in Athens, Greece, is
a Greek singer and songwriter. She began her musical career at the age of 16,
contributing vocals to several tracks on Dimos Moutsis' and Nikos Gatsos' album
A Smile. In 1971, Galani provided vocals for six tracks on Manos Hatzidakis'
album Land of Gold and released her first solo album, Δήμητρα Γαλάνη. Throughout
her career, she collaborated with notable composers such as Dimos Moutsis, Manos
