Żywiołak

Żywiołak, a Polish folk and rock band from Warsaw, was formed in 2005 by multi-instrumentalists Robert Jaworski and Robert Wasilewski. In 2007, percussionist Maciej Dymek joined the band, followed by Monika Sadkowska replacing Izabella Byra on vocals in August 2008. The band's first full-length album Nowa Ex-Tradycja was released in 2008. That same year, Żywiołak was nominated for the Polish final of the Eurovision Song Contest but was disqualified for breaking contest rules.
