In the early 1980s, Kondža gained prominence as the lead vocalist for the pop-rock group Stijene, with whom she recorded four albums: Cementna prašina (1981), Jedanaest i petnaest (1982), Balkanska korida (1983), and Zlatna kolekcija (1984).
