Zhao Wei, also known as Vicki Zhao, was born March 12, 1976, in Wuhu, Anhui. She
is a Chinese actress and Mandopop singer. She began her recording career in 1999
with the album Xiao Yanzi (Swallow), which was associated with My Fair Princess
and achieved strong commercial success. She released the album Piao (Afloat) in
2004. In 2005, she followed with Shuang (Double), featuring "Wo He Shangguan Yan
(Shangguan Yan and I)". During the mid-2000s, Zhao received recognition from
major Chinese music charts, including Most Popular Female Singer at the
