Better known as Zazie, Isabelle Marie Anne de Truchis de Varennes was born in
Boulogne-Billancourt on April 18, 1964. Emerging in the early 1990s, she
established herself as one of the most original voices on the French music
scene, with a strong personality, moving seamlessly between genres and
styles—from art-song to pop, rock, and electronic music. Since her debut album
