Zakopower
Zakopower is a Polish folk-rock band formed in 2005 and led by violinist and
vocalist Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka. Drawing heavily on the musical traditions of
the Podhale region, the group combines Góral folk music with elements of rock,
jazz, and contemporary music. Their debut album, Music Hal, was released in 2005
and featured lyrics in the Góral dialect alongside arrangements by composer and
producer Mateusz Pospieszalski. The band followed with Na siedem (2007) and the
live album Koncertowo (2009), which achieved gold certification in Poland. Their
