Yusuf Güney, born on 5 June 1984 in Trabzon, is a Turkish pop singer who began his career as a songwriter. His breakthrough came in 2008 when his composition "Aşk‑ı Virane" was featured on Rafet El Roman’s album Bir Roman Gibi and later released as a duet, topping the Turkish charts for 16 weeks and earning Song of the Year at the 2009 Turkey Music Awards.
