Born Dominic Richard Harrison on August 5, 1997 in Doncaster, South Yorkshire,
Yungblud grew up alongside his two sisters, and soon developed a passion for
music, hoping to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, who once played
alongside T. Rex in the 1970s. Dominic Harrison learned guitar, piano and drums,
and wrote his own songs. He rose to fame on his debut in 2017, with his single
"I Love You, Will You Marry Me", followed less than a year later by his debut
album, 21st Century Liability (No. 97 in Australia), which extended his first
