(Yuji Ohno)
Yuji Ohno – born May 30, 1941, in Atami, Japan – is a keyboardist best known for
composing musical scores for Japanese anime television series and films. He
began playing piano in elementary school and formed his first band – Junior
Light Music - at Keio Senior High School. Teaching himself jazz, he eventually
joined the big band Keio University Light Music Society. He made his recorded
debut on the 1966 release Hideo Shiraki Meets Yuzo Kayama. Yuji Ohno stepped
