Jeffery Lamar Williams is an American rapper who performs under the name Young
Thug. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 16, 1991, he began making mixtapes in
2013 and released his debut single, "Stoner," one year later. His first
commercially-released mixtape, 2015's Barter 6, went to Number 5 on Billboard's
Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, and Young Thug continued cracking the Top 10 with
