Wonderwall
Wonderwall is a German pop band that was founded in Cologne in 1994. The
founding members are Kathrin Schauer (born December 25, 1981 in Cologne),
Daniela Förstel (born March 17, 1982 in Cologne) and Julia Beck (born September
11, 1983 in Leverkusen). The band is characterized by catchy, romantic,
vocal-based acoustic pop with folk influences. All songs are self-written and in
English. In May 2001, Wonderwall released their first single "Witchcraft", which
reached number 77 in the German singles charts. The breakthrough came with the
