Willy Alberti
Willy Alberti, born Carel Verbrugge on October 14, 1926, in Amsterdam,
Netherlands, is a Dutch singer known for his contributions to Levenslied music.
He began singing at a very young age with family members and started recording
professionally in the early 1940s. Alberti's breakthrough came after World War
II when he established himself in the Netherlands with Italian songs, becoming
increasingly popular in the 1950s. His string of hits began with "Nel blu
