WILFRED LEBOUTHILLIER
Wilfred Le Bouthillier, born 12 May 1978 in Tracadie‑Sheila, New Brunswick, is a
Canadian Acadian singer, songwriter and guitarist. After winning the 2003
edition of Star Académie, he released his self‑titled debut album Wilfred Le
Bouthillier that same year, selling over 300 000 copies and earning a Juno for
Francophone Album of the Year in 2004. In 2006 he issued Poussières, whose
single "Avec toi" remained in the top ten of the French‑language BDS chart for
12 weeks, later winning the SOCAN Popular Song Award in 2007. The rock‑oriented
