White Shoes & The Couples Company, an Indonesian pop, funk, and jazz band from Jakarta, was formed in 2002. Aprilia Apsari and Yusmario Farabi met while studying at the Jakarta Institute of Arts and were later joined by Saleh Husein. In 2004, Ricky Virgana, John Navid, and Aprimela Prawidyanti completed the lineup.
