WC and the Maad Circle was an American hip-hop group originating from Los
Angeles, California. The group was formed in 1990 by rapper WC, with "MAAD"
standing for Minority Alliance of Anti-Discrimination. Following the dissolution
of Low Profile, a previous group featuring WC, he established the Maad Circle
and released their debut album Ain't a Damn Thang Changed on September 17, 1991.
The album achieved chart success, marking a significant breakthrough in their
