WAYD, a Slovak metal band, was formed in 1994 when members of the thrash metal
band Marion and the death metal band Dysentery joined forces. Their first
release, Shape of Your Mind, was recorded in 1995 at AD Micro Studio in Prešov.
In 1998, WAYD released their debut album, The Ultimate Passion, produced by
Metal Age Productions. The band continued to explore experimental sounds with
subsequent albums, including Barriers (2001) and Decadance (2003), both also
produced by Metal Age Productions. Their fourth album, Ghostwalk, was released
in 2007 via Hrom Records.
