Wardell, an indie folk rock band, consists of siblings Sasha and Theo Spielberg.
The children of director Steven Spielberg and actress Kate Capshaw, Sasha and
Theo began performing together as kids but officially started their band in
earnest during college in 2010. Their breakthrough came with the song "Opossum",
which was named an NPR Song of the Day in 2011 and led to their signing with Roc
Nation. The duo released their debut EP Brother/Sister in 2013, following
