Born on October 10th, 1982 in Fuli, Hualien, Taiwanese singer-songwriter and Hit FM presenter Waa Wei first made a name for herself in the early 2000s as the frontwoman of the five-time Golden Melody Award-nominated indie outfit Natural Q, until she had no choice but to call a hiatus from music in 2006 due to a throat injury.
