Volkan Konak, born on February 27, 1967, in Maçka, Trabzon, was a celebrated
Turkish folk singer and songwriter known for blending traditional Black Sea
melodies with contemporary sounds. He studied at the Istanbul Technical
University Turkish Music State Conservatory before launching his music career in
