Vinícius Almeida—known artistically as Vinicín—is an 18-year-old rapper and singer from the Pavão (PPG) favela in Rio de Janeiro’s southern zone, whose formative years in the maze-like streets and beaches of the zona sul shaped his resilient and streetwise lyrical voice.
