Vasily Petrenko
Vasily Petrenko is an acclaimed Russian classical music conductor who has
appeared with many other orchestras around the world and made his debut with the
Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra (RLPO) in 2004 and was named principal
conductor in 2005. He was principal conductor of the National Youth Orchestra of
Great Britain from 2008 to 2013 and he has been chief conductor at the Oslo
Philharmonic in Norway since 2013. He was named Young Artist of the Year in the
