Valeria Castro Rodríguez (born April 28, 1999, in Los Llanos de Aridane,
La Palma, Canary Islands) began her musical journey at age four at the Insular
School of Music, later refining her songwriting while studying biotechnology in
Madrid. She first gained recognition with her 2021 EP Chiquita—marked by the
resonant single “Guerrera,” a tribute to her foremothers—which showcased her
