Discovered on the Grammy-nominated Fleet Foxes album, soul and folk singer Uwade
made a name for herself by opening for artists such as Jamila Woods, Sylvan Esso
and The Strokes, before appearing in the playlists of digital platforms. Real
name Uwade Akhere, the Nigerian-born singer and guitarist is also studying
classics at Columbia University, followed by a doctorate in California. After
the release of a first single in 2019, "Nostalgia", other titles emerge
