Upon a Burning Body, an American metalcore band from San Antonio, Texas, was
formed in 2005. Over the years, their line‑up has changed; the current core
members are vocalist Danny Leal, guitarist Ruben Alvarez and bassist Thomas
Alvarez. The group's early work included the EP Genocide, released in 2005. In
2010, Upon a Burning Body signed with Sumerian Records and released their debut
