Uncle Waffles (born Lungelihle Zwane on 30 March 2000, in Eswatini) is a dynamic
DJ and producer renowned for her electrifying performances and pivotal role in
globalising the South African music genre, amapiano. She began her DJ journey in
2020 during the COVID-19 lockdowns, practising intensively and quickly gaining
attention for her high-energy sets and distinctive dance moves behind the decks.
Her breakthrough moment came in October 2021 when a viral video of her dancing
to "Adiwele" at Soweto's Zone 6 nightclub propelled her into the spotlight. In
