Ultramagnetic MCs were formed in 1984 in the Bronx, New York, by Kool Keith
(born 1968), with Ced Gee, TR Love and Moe Love as founding members; the group
later added Big D as a hype man and Tim Dog as an unofficial collaborator. Their
first single, "To Give You Love", appeared on the Diamond International label in
1985, followed by "Ego Trippin" on Next Plateau in 1986, which introduced the
