UBBA, a Swedish thrash punk band, was formed during Easter 1999 by Mart Hällgren
and David Stark. The duo, previously members of Sunday Morning Einsteins, sought
to create a new band focused on thrash punk. They recruited Puttra and Marja as
lead and second guitarists respectively, initially performing under the name For
the Family. Later renamed UBBA, meaning "Without B, Just A," the band released
their first EP 1972 in 1999. Their debut album, The U-Generation, was released
