Trading Yesterday was an American alternative rock ensemble formed in 2002 in Little Rock, Arkansas. The group was established by David Hodges and Mark Colbert, who were later joined by Steven McMorran. The ensemble released the demo recording The Beauty and the Tragedy in May 2004. After signing with Epic Records, the group released the single “One Day” in May 2005. The ensemble’s debut studio recording, More Than This, was shelved following the group’s departure from the label in 2006 but was later released independently in 2011.
