The Toy Dolls, an English punk rock band, were formed in October 1979 in
Sunderland, United Kingdom. The original lineup included Pete Zulu on bass and
guitar, Michael "Olga" Algar on guitar and vocals, Flip on bass, and Mr. Scott
on drums. Their first concert took place at the Millview Social Club in
Sunderland on October 20, 1979. Olga soon took over lead vocal duties while
continuing to play guitar.
The Toy Dolls released their debut album Dig That Groove Baby in March 1983,
