Toy, a Korean band, was founded in 1994 as a duo consisting of You Hee-yeol and
Yoon Jeong-oh. The band's name is derived from their initials 'Y', representing
Two + Y = Toy. Initially, the group released its debut album 내 마음속에 on October
24, 1994. However, after this release, Yoon Jeong-oh left to study overseas and
You Hee-yeol joined the navy for his mandatory military service. Following his
discharge, You Hee-yeol continued as the sole member of Toy.
