Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 12 November 1984, Tommee Profitt is a songwriter and producer whose primary instrument is the piano, which he taught himself to play as a child. He signed a publishing deal with Capitol CMG Publishing (Capitol CMG) in 2014 and the following year teamed up with Christian rapper NF—also signed to Capitol CMG—to produce his chart-topping debut album Mansion.
