Keiichi Tomita, born June 1, 1962, in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, Japan, is a Japanese
music producer, composer, and arranger whose career spans pop, jazz fusion, and
electronic music. After studying at Dokkyo University and playing guitar in
backing bands, he entered the professional scene in the mid‑1980s as a studio
musician with indie bands Kedge and Moves, before establishing himself as a
producer in the 1990s. Tomita’s breakthrough came with the 2000 production of
Misia’s "Everything", which topped the Oricon Singles Chart, and Mika
