Thomas Michael Fletcher was born on 17 July 1985 in Harrow, London, and grew
up as a singer, songwriter, composer and guitarist. After training at the Sylvia
Young Theatre School, he began writing commercially in his teens, contributing
to Busted releases before co‑founding McFly with Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and
Harry Judd in 2003. McFly released their debut album Room on the 3rd Floor in
2004, reaching number one on the UK Albums Chart, and followed with Wonderland
(2005), Light Up the Sky (2007), The Greatest Hits (2010) and Above the Noise
