Tohpati
Tohpati Ario Hutomo, born July 25, 1971, is an Indonesian jazz guitarist,
songwriter, and composer from Jakarta. He is known for blending jazz with
traditional Indonesian musical elements. Influenced by Pat Metheny, he gained
recognition after winning several national guitar prizes during the 1980s.
Tohpati joined the jazz fusion group Simak Dialog in 1993, recording three
albums before launching his solo career with a self-titled debut in 1996. His
