The third child of the Jackson siblings, Toriano Aradyll "Tito" Jackson was born
in Gary, Indiana, on October 15, 1953. He taught himself to play guitar, before
being recruited by his father Joseph Jackson into the band formed in 1964 with
his older brother Jackie and younger brothers Jermaine, Marlon and Michael. From
1969 to 1975, The Jackson 5 enjoyed a string of hits in the 1960s, including "I
Want You Back", "ABC" and "I'll Be There", culminating in the album Dancing
