known for his contributions to jazz. He began learning guitar at age eight under
the tutelage of his father, Tokeli Winterstein, and later added violin to his
repertoire. In 1972, at just 15 years old, Winterstein joined Häns'che Weiss's
quintet, marking a significant breakthrough in his career. This group featured a
