Tirso Duarte was a Cuban singer, pianist, composer, and arranger who became a key figure in contemporary timba and salsa. Born in Havana on April 12, 1978, he studied at the prestigious Conservatorio Amadeo Roldán before launching his career with Pachito Alonso y sus Kini Kini.
