Timothy Ugbedo Omaji, better known as Timomatic, was born on September 9, 1987,
in Kaduna, Nigeria. He emigrated to Australia with his family at the age of ten
months and grew up in various locations across the country due to his father's
academic positions. Omaji began his musical journey by forming a band with his
family at nine years old, where he played percussion. He was nicknamed
"Timomatic" by friends for his hip-hop dancing skills and later secured roles as
artistic director and choreographer of dance company Kulture Break in Canberra.
