Timmy T
Timothy Torres, known professionally as Timmy T, was born on September 21, 1967,
in Fresno, California. He began his career in the 1980s performing with small
rap groups but soon shifted to dance music. After recording his debut single,
"Time After Time" in his garage using a Moog synthesizer and a Roland TR-808
drum machine, he gained local radio airplay, taking his music to Los Angeles. In
1990, Timmy T signed with Quality Records and released a studio version of
"Time After Time", which peaked at number 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. His
