Tilo Weber, born in 1990 in Aachen, Germany, is a drummer and composer known for
his work in jazz. He studied drums at the Jazz Institute Berlin from 2009 to
2014 under John Hollenbeck, followed by composition studies at the Hamburg
University of Music and Theatre with Ruta Paidere from 2015 to 2017. In April
2016, he released his debut album Animate Repose, followed by Faun Renaissance
(2021), which earned him the German Jazz Prize for his arrangement of "Se la mia
