Tierry is a Brazilian singer-songwriter who performs in the arrocha genre, a
traditional music style from the state of Bahia. Born Tierry de Araújo Paixão da
Costa on April 29, 1989, in the city of Salvador, he made a name for himself as
a songwriter, penning hits for artists like Gusttavo Lima, Ivete Sangalo, and
Claudia Leitte. After serving as the lead singer for the pagode baiano act
Fantasmão for a few years, Tierry made his solo debut in 2015 with the album Na
