Diógines Ferreira de Carvalho, known as Tiee, is a Brazilian singer-songwriter
and multi-instrumentalist born in 1986 in São Gonçalo, Rio de Janeiro, who first
honed his craft playing cavaquinho, guitar, and banjo autodidactically in samba
rodas at age 12 alongside his composer father. He began his formal musical
journey performing with his brother in local venues before joining the samba
group Vai por Mim, whose song “Embolaê” received radio airplay. In 2004, he
