Thomas Godoj
Thomas Godoj, born Tomasz Jacek Godoj on March 6, 1978, in Rybnik, Poland, is a
Polish-German singer and songwriter. He moved to Germany with his family in 1986
and settled in Recklinghausen. Before pursuing music full-time, Godoj completed
vocational training as a technical drafter. Godoj's initial musical steps
included singing in various bands such as Cure of Souls, Fluxkompensator, Tonk!,
and WiNK. His breakthrough came when he participated in the fifth season of
Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS) in 2008, ultimately winning the
competition with 62.20% of the votes agains...
