Thom Donovan
Thomas Joseph Donovan, born on July 24, 1974 in St. Louis, Missouri, is an
American guitarist, singer, songwriter, and writer. Donovan began performing in
college, forming the duo Elevator to a Penthouse with his brother Stephen and
later co‑founding the band Lapush in 2001. The group released Someplace Closer
to Here (2005) and Modern Blues (2007) under 456 Entertainment, with singles
such as "Aurora" and "Closer" gaining television exposure. After Lapush
disbanded in 2008, Donovan launched a solo career, issuing Cast A Light (2010)
through Lapush Recordings, followed by Mercury...
